Such excitement throughout the Gay Male Pagan populace of the USA today, as word officially spread that Michael Lloyd’s long-awaited biography of early NYC Scenester Eddie Buczynski Bull of Heaven is released. As Mr. Lloyd is a very prominent figure in the Secret Pagan Gay Guy Underground Network, many Friends of Dorothy are aware of how long he has worked on this book, how thorough has been his research, and how deeply committed he has been to this project. I’m planning on ordering my copy tomorrow (I do this old-fashioned thing, where I go to my local bookstore, and ask them to get a copy for me; they know me there, they’re always very nice), but I’m already predicting: this is one of those books, that if you want to “know” the development of American Paganism as well as it is possible to know it- you want to read this book.
